​Optica/SPIE student chapter is a student communities consisted of students in Osaka university working in the field of optics and photonics. 

​

Based on the funding from the international academic societies, Optica and SPIE, we hold a lot of activities, such as invited lectures from popular professors, interactive meetings with other domestic and international universities and educational outreach events for kids.

These activities are very helpful not only to obtain professional development skills that we usually cannot obtain through lab life, but also to build up strong networks among students working in the same filed. It also somehow connects us with our future career.
